Confined Spaces Courses (Awareness)

Confined Space Course (Awareness) - 0.5 Day

Who For?
Designed for personnel who are responsible for safe working practices and/or supervision of personnel entering confined spaces. The course can also be used as pre-training before attending the Confined Entry Course.

Confined Space Course (Awareness) Objective
The aim of this course is to provide all course candidates with an awareness of the legislation and hazards relating to confined space operations.

Provides candidates with:

• Awareness of Confined Space legislation
• Ability to recognise and identify a confined space
• Understanding of the hazards associated with confined spaces
• Awareness of Health & Hygiene aspects of the confined space environment
• Duration - 0.5 Day (4 Hours contact time)
• Confined Space Awareness Certificate

Certification
All persons who successfully complete the course will receive a certificate for Confined Space Awareness.

 

Confined Space Course (Awareness - Defence Estates Safety Rules and Procedures) - 0.5 Day

Who For?
Designed for personnel who are responsible for safe working practices and/or supervision of personnel entering confined spaces when working in a Defence Estates Establishment and the Defense Estates Safety Rules and Procedures are to be applied. The course can also be used as pre-training before attending the Confined Entry Course.

Course Objective
The aim of this course is to provide all course candidates with an awareness of the legislation and hazards relating to confined space operations in accordance with Defence Estates Safety Rules and Procedures.

Provides candidates with:

• Awareness of Confined Space legislation
• Ability to recognise and identify a confined space
• Understanding of the hazards associated with confined spaces
• Awareness of Health & Hygiene aspects of the confined space environment
• Duration - 0.5 Day (4 Hours contact time)
• Confined Space Awareness Certificate

Confined Space Course (Awareness - Water UK) - 0.5 Day

Who For?
Designed for personnel who are responsible for safe working practices and/or supervision of personnel entering confined spaces when working in a Water UK Member Establishment and the Occupational guideline policy and procedures are to be applied. The course can also be used as pre-training before attending the Confined Entry Course.

Course Objective
The aim of this course is to provide all course candidates with an awareness of the legislation and hazards relating to confined space operations in accordance with Water UK Occupational guideline policy and procedures.

Provides candidates with:

• Awareness of Confined Space legislation
• Ability to recognise and identify a confined space
• Understanding of the hazards associated with confined spaces
• Awareness of Health & Hygiene aspects of the confined space environment
• Duration - 0.5 Day (4 Hours contact time)
• Confined Space Awareness Certificate
