Confined Space Supervisors Training course - 1 Day

Who For?
Designed for experienced confined space personnel who have been selected or require additional training to be come entry/task or site supervisors (Appointed/Authorised Persons).

Note: This course does not qualify personnel in the use of full breathing apparatus, but does include the 15 minutes Emergency Escape Breathing Apparatus (Escape Set).

Course Objective
Provides candidates with:

• An understanding of Confined Space legislation
• Recognition a confined space and classification
• Understanding of the hazards associated with confined spaces
• Ability to identify and use specialist equipment required for confined space entry
• Awareness of Health & Hygiene aspects of the confined space environment
• An understanding of the personalities and their duties regarding confined spaces procedures (SRP 06)
• Practical exercises using confined space equipment
• Confined space entry exercise

Duration - 1 day (candidate must already have knowledge of Safety Systems of Work)
